Low Tide Tots is a family-owned rental service providing premium baby gear and beach equipment for families visiting the Charleston area (including Mt. Pleasant, Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, Folly Beach, Kiawah, and more). We deliver clean, high-quality gear straight to your vacation rental, hotel, or home so you can travel light and enjoy your trip without the stress of packing bulky equipment.
How does the rental process work?
- Browse our inventory of baby gear and beach essentials.
- Select the items you need and choose your rental dates.
- We deliver the gear directly to your location before arrival.
When your rental ends, we pick everything up after you leave — no hassle for you!
What types of items can I rent?
We offer a wide range of equipment to support families, including:
- Baby gear: cribs, bassinets (like the Snoo Smart Sleeper), high chairs, playpens
- Strollers: single & double models, including jogging strollers
- Beach gear: wagons, shade canopies (Shibumi Shade), playpens with sun protection
Travel essentials: white noise machines, humidifiers, toddler beds, monitors
Every item is cleaned, safety checked, and ready for use.
When and where do you deliver?
We deliver to vacation homes, rentals, and hotels throughout Charleston County and the surrounding beach communities. This includes:
- Mt. Pleasant
- Sullivan’s Island
- Isle of Palms
- North Charleston
- Daniel Island
- Folly Beach
Kiawah Island
If your location is outside these areas, just reach out — we may still be able to help!
Do you set up the gear for me?
Yes — we provide white glove service: gear is delivered and ready for use before you arrive, so you don’t have to lift a finger. Cribs, playpens, wagons, strollers, and other larger items are assembled and positioned as requested.
Is the equipment clean and safe?
What if my travel plans change?
Life happens — travel plans can too. If you need to adjust or cancel your reservation, just contact us as early as possible. We’ll work with you to accommodate the change. (Visit our Policies page or contact us for full details.)
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as you know your travel dates, especially during peak seasons like summer and holidays. Popular items (like cribs and double strollers) can book up quickly!
